Privacy Policy

Last updated August 21, 2026

This policy explains what personal information the Assisted Stretching Association (“ASA”, “we”, “us”) collects through this website, why we collect it, and who it is and is not shared with. It applies to assistedstretchingassociation.com and to the forms published on it.

1.Information we collect

We collect only what a person gives us, and a small amount of technical information that a website necessarily receives.

Information you provide

When you request a resource such as the Assisted Stretching Career Starter Guide, we collect:

  • First name — so we can address you correctly.
  • Email address — so we can send the resource you asked for and related ASA email updates.
  • Mobile phone number — optional. It is collected only if you choose to enter it.
  • Your SMS consent choice — whether you ticked the optional text-message box, and the date and time you did so.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider receives standard request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, which is used to serve and secure the site. Our public marketing pages also use Google Analytics to measure aggregate traffic. We do not use analytics to build profiles of identified individuals, and the lead-capture form does not pass your name, email or phone number to any analytics service.

2.How we use it

We use the information above to:

  • send you the specific resource you requested;
  • send ASA email updates about assisted stretching education, certification and training;
  • send marketing SMS/MMS messages, and only if you separately opted in to them;
  • answer questions you send us;
  • operate, secure and improve the website.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

3.Email and text messages are separate choices

Requesting a resource subscribes you to ASA email. It does not subscribe you to text messages. Resources you request are delivered on this website and by email, never by text message. Marketing text messages require a separate, optional opt-in that is never pre-selected, and you can receive every resource and every email we publish without ever providing a mobile number.

You can unsubscribe from email using the link in any email, and opt out of text messages at any time as described in section 4.

4.SMS and mobile messaging

If you tick the optional SMS consent box on an ASA form, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing SMS/MMS messages from Assisted Stretching Association. This is a marketing and lead-nurture program; it is not used to deliver resources you have requested. This is the exact disclosure shown beside that checkbox:

Yes, I agree to receive recurring automated marketing SMS/MMS messages from Assisted Stretching Association about assisted stretching education, certification and training opportunities, upcoming programs, and promotional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. ASA does not charge for messages; your mobile carrier may.

How to opt out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages after that.

How to get help. Reply HELP to any message for help.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You do not have to agree to text messages to receive a resource, to enrol in an ASA program, or to buy anything from ASA.

What we do with your mobile number

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be shared with service providers strictly as necessary to operate ASA services and communications, and not for their own marketing purposes.

In plain terms: your mobile number and your consent record are not sold, rented, traded or passed to anyone else so that they can market to you. They are handled by the providers that operate ASA systems on our behalf — for example our website host, our email platform and our SMS provider — and used only to deliver the messages you asked for.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See the Terms & Conditions for the full SMS terms.

5.Cookies

The site uses cookies necessary to operate it and, on our public marketing pages, Google Analytics cookies used to measure aggregate traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the informational pages of this site work without them.

6.Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers acting on our behalf, strictly as necessary to operate ASA services and communications, and only where they are obliged to protect it and not to use it for their own marketing purposes. We may also disclose information where we are legally required to.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.

7.How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as the law requires. Records of SMS consent and opt-out are kept for as long as we operate the messaging program, because we are required to be able to evidence that consent.

8.Your choices

  • Unsubscribe from email using the link in any ASA email.
  • Stop text messages by replying STOP.
  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.

Questions about your information or this policy can be sent to ASA at chuck@assistedstretchingassociation.com.

9.Children

ASA resources and programs are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices, our services or the law. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting how we use your information will be communicated through the ASA website. Continuing to use the site or our communications after an update means you accept the revised policy.
