Terms & Conditions
Last updated August 21, 2026
These terms apply to your use of assistedstretchingassociation.com, to the free resources published on it, and to the optional SMS text message program operated by the Assisted Stretching Association(“ASA”, “we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1.Who we are
The Assisted Stretching Association is an education and certification organization for assisted stretching professionals. ASA publishes educational material, operates certification programs, and sends communications to people who ask for them.
2.Use of this website
You may read, download and share the material published here for your own personal and professional use. You may not copy, resell or redistribute ASA course material, assessments or certification content as your own, and you may not use the site in a way that disrupts it or attempts to gain access to areas you are not authorised to reach.
3.Free resources
ASA publishes free resources, including downloadable guides. They are provided for general information. They are educational material, not instructions for treating a person, and they do not replace training, supervision or professional judgement.
We may change or withdraw a free resource at any time.
4.Communications you ask for
When you request a resource you are subscribed to ASA email. You can unsubscribe from the link in any email. The resource itself is delivered on this website and by email, never by text message.
Text messages are a separate, optional MARKETING choice, described in section 5. You are never subscribed to them by requesting a resource, and declining them costs you nothing you asked for.
5.SMS text message terms
Who sends the messages
Marketing SMS and MMS messages under this program are sent by the Assisted Stretching Association.
How you join
You join by ticking the optional SMS consent box on an ASA website form and providing your mobile number. The box is never pre-selected, and consent is an affirmative act by you. By opting in you confirm that you are the account holder of the mobile number you provide, or that you are authorised to use it and to consent to messages sent to it. Please provide a valid mobile number you are authorised to use.
What we send
This is a marketing and lead-nurture program. Messages under it may include:
- assisted stretching educational content;
- certification and training opportunities;
- upcoming ASA programs;
- promotional offers;
ASA does not use this program to deliver resources you have requested. Free resources, including the Assisted Stretching Career Starter Guide, are delivered on this website and by email, and you receive them whether or not you opt in to text messages.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies.
Cost. Message and data rates may apply. ASA does not charge you for messages; charges, if any, come from your mobile carrier under your own plan.
To opt out. Reply STOP to any message at any time. You will receive one confirmation message and then no further messages.
For help. Reply HELP to any message, or email ASA customer support at chuck@assistedstretchingassociation.com.
Consent is not a condition of purchase. Agreeing to receive text messages is not required to receive a free resource, to enrol in an ASA program, or to purchase anything from ASA.
Carriers and delivery
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and your device, and ASA cannot guarantee that any message will arrive, arrive on time, or arrive intact.
Supported carriers and devices
The program is intended for mobile numbers capable of receiving SMS/MMS messages in the United States. Not all carriers or devices support every message type.
Your number
Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. How your number is handled is described in full in the Privacy Policy.
If you stop using a mobile number you gave us, please opt out by replying STOP or contact us, so that messages do not continue to a number that has been reassigned.
6.Certification, scope of practice and licensing
ASA certification records that a person completed an ASA program and met its assessment standard. It is not a licence, and it does not by itself authorise anyone to practise, to offer a service, or to describe themselves in any particular way.
What you are permitted to offer is decided by the law of your jurisdiction, by any professional licence you hold, and by your insurer — not by ASA and not by any credential ASA issues. You are responsible for confirming your own position with those authorities. Nothing on this site is legal advice.
7.No health, employment or income claims
Assisted stretching as taught by ASA is a fitness and wellness service. Nothing published by ASA diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any medical condition, and nothing here is medical advice. If you have a medical concern, consult a qualified healthcare professional.
ASA makes no representation or guarantee about employment, earnings, business results or professional outcomes arising from any ASA program, resource or credential. Results depend on individual circumstances that ASA does not control.
8.Intellectual property
The content of this site, including text, design, course material and downloadable guides, belongs to ASA or its licensors and is protected by copyright. The ASA name and marks may not be used to imply endorsement, affiliation or certification that has not been granted.
9.Availability and disclaimer
The site and its free resources are provided on an “as is” basis. We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content is complete or current. To the extent permitted by law, ASA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or its free resources.
10.Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site or the SMS program after an update means you accept the revised terms. The current version is always published at assistedstretchingassociation.com/terms.
11.Contact
Questions about these terms or the SMS program can be sent to ASA at chuck@assistedstretchingassociation.com.
